Not sure if this goes here or in the tickle discussion, but here is a great game idea for anyone out there planning a bachelorette party. Here's how it unfolded at the party I was at:

All of the friends/relatives of the bride who were going to attend the party took five index cards each two nights before the party. On each card, we wrote down a favorite memory, inside joke, favorite movie, etc that we shared with the bride-to-be.

On the day before the party, we took the guest of honor to buy a new pair of tennis shoes and medium-length athletic socks (adidas, Nike, whatever...). We told her we would pay for everything, but the shoes had to be as comfortable as possible and the socks had to be completely white (logos on the ankle were ok). When we told her the plan that day, she was confused, but went along with it, because what girl is going to turn down free shoes??

After we took her home, we told her that for the party, she had to wear her new shoes and socks, bring the box that the shoes came in, and be ready for a crazy night. I think our friend Karen's exact words were, "you might not be able to stop laughing all night...it's going to be THAT ridiculous!" Erin (the bride-to-be) was all excited, because she LOVES to crack up and just have a blast. After she went inside her apartment, we all just exploded with laughter, since she had NO idea what was in store for her.

So, anyway, the night of the party, we were all hanging out and having a great time, when Lindsey decided it was time for "the Game." We pulled out this recliner and told Erin to have a seat. She climbed into the chair and we reclined the chair and told her to get as comfortable as possible, because she was going to be there a good 45 minutes to an hour. She kind of stretched out, put her arms on the armrest and said, "Ok! What's next?"

Her eyes showed a bit of nervousness when we pulled out the duct tape. She asked us, "ummm...what kind of game is this?" We told her, as honestly as possible, "Relax, this makes the game a little easier."

After she was all strapped in (wrists taped to the armrests, legs taped together and to the legrest, tummy taped to the chair), we told her, "You're about to play a slightly more creative version of pictionary with higher stakes. That's not so bad, is it?" She was like, "That's all? Why do I need to be held down for that??"

As I put the blindfold over her eyes, Erin started to wonder, "Wait, how am I going to see what the hell you're drawing?" I assured her she wouldn't need to see the pictures, because that was the twist that made the game more creative. About that time, Karen started to untie Erin's shoes and pull off her socks, eliciting some very curious questions and a little more anxiety than before from the bride-to-be. She tied her big toes together and laced the string around the tape restraining her legs. She absolutely could not move her feet, aside from some frantic toe wiggling.

Amanda then began to explain the game. Basically, the rules were simple: we put all the index cards in the shoebox. One at a time, one of us would draw a card, then (without sharing it with anyone else) draw clues as to what was on the card on the sole of her left foot with a Bic pen. The rest of us would then start trying to guess what was on the card. It was Erin's job to guess what was on the card and who had submitted it. If she guessed the content of the card incorrectly, the person who submitted the card would draw a picture of the incorrect guess on her right foot and continue doing so until she guessed correctly or time was up. Each round was three minutes long.

I would rate Erin a 9.5 in ticklishness on a scale of 1-10 and her feet were probably a 9.9. There were 15 of us there and we each drew two cards. Use your imagination to figure out how loud it got in that basement... :-D

It goes without saying...I highly recommend this game.

This sounds awesome! you should describe the a few of the rounds of the game to us i think, let us get the picture, haha!

cool game! but what was the purpose of buying her new socks and shoes?
