This is wonderful, and on the same day that Bushido made his return after the heart surgery! I am very glad that you won't have to have any operations -- just be sure to follow your doctor's advice about eating properly to reduce the risk of recurrence 🙂

Good to hear others are doing well. I just got out of the hospital from a near attack scare myself. I WORK in hospitals, don't like to be a patient in there though...

Ouch. Yea, I understand Hawk, I've had several surgeries myself and the SMELL of the place freaks me out. Walked into the Health Dept one time and nearly had a panic attack because of the smell...😱

Am I the only one here who loves hospitals? Maybe it's because I've never had to stay in one for more than a couple of hours.

I think people like hospitals for the underlying sense of security they give a person. Whether or not its the case, people feel safe and taken care of there.

Most of my surgery memories were from when I was a young child, my legs had to be surgically broken and it took a few procedures. I expect that's the root of my phobia.

I know. I've also had post-traumatic stress from a time when I moved away from my hometown (at age fourteen) into a completely new subculture:gangwars, drug deals everywhere, guns at school, etc. I'm not knocking it, but I just couldn't thrive there. I wound up moving home and now, almost three years later, I still have episodes of PTS.

But finding you guys has helped a lot! ^_^

Thanks. I would tell my "friends" (whoooole 'nother issue) about my home town and they were all like "Who wants to live in boringsville"? But I've known all my friends here since I was four.

In other words, ME!😛

But yea, I've had my share of stress disorders. My parents and siblings still live there (THAT was a family argument---went to live with my granma when I was seventeen) and every time I have to go visit my OCD gets a LOT worse😛
