I've got to go with Detroit Rock City here. I also like Beth, not because it's a particularly good tune, but because I play it as a solo piano piece during our gigs. It's what we call a "Panty-Tossin' Tune"...use your imagination.🙄

I was going to say "I Was Made For Lovin' You" as a gag, but I couldn't keep a straight face...not even on the internet.

Wow...my favorite KISS tune? I'd go with "New York Groove" but that doesen't qualify as a Kisss song officially now does it? My favorite Kiss song is "Black Diamond" .....or is it "Ladies Room"? I don't know "Mainline", "Getaway" , Even "Talk to me"(Ace song from "unmasked") or "Fits Like a Glove"(Lick it up). In my life I have my Kiss phases. I admit it IS a guilty pleasure. Gene is/was a helluva Bassist though, and to the best of my knowledge, no one has ever gotten a bigger Jimmy page type sound thaN Ace Frehley. Paul Stanley has pretty much always sucked on guitar though and Peter Criss is fairly average on a good night. Get em' together though and Kiss is truly a giant. Aren't they OLD though???lol

Since it is impossible for me to pick ONE favorite KISS song (I've seen them in concert 3 times, if that gives you a hint about how big of a fan I am), I will have to pick favorites by each member:

Gene Simmons: "Domino", and "Unholy"

Peter Chris: "Hard Luck Woman" and "Black Diamond"

Eric Karr: "Beth"

Ace Freeley: "New York Groove" - not a KISS song, I know, but I've seen him perform it at all 3 KISS concerts, so in my book, it qualifies...lol

Paul Stanley: "Forever", "I Just Wanna Forget You", "X in Sex"

Detroit Rock City is the song that got me into the Knights In Satan's Service, so I gotta say it reigns supreme -- what? That's not what KISS stands for? What?

I still can't help singing Beth when I'm alone in the car, but I just don't consider that one a KISS tune. It's a Peter Criss tune.

There was a time when I listened to The Elder over and over and over and over. Wasn't a particularly good album, but hell, I loved it. KISS doing conceptual. Their own The Wall.

But to list favorites, I have to mention Sloe Gin and Deuce. Strutter too.

And, hey, I love I Was Made for Loving You. Absolutely hysterical. I was quite excited to see it make its way into Moulin Rouge, by the way.

I'm glad nobody said Tears Are Falling. Though I DID get big kick out of that Uh All Night.

Remember when Lick It Up aired for the first time ever? A good faction of American kids (and grownups, I'm sure) were huddled around the MTV for THAT Video Premiere! Good gracious gravy, no makeup!

Here's a good obscure Kiss tune. "Thrills in the Night" on the "Animalize" album. Not a hit or anything, but a great tune.

The one power ballad they did that I actually liked was "Reason to Live." Not really a technically proficient song, but a real nut-grabber.
