Every year this nonsense happens, but at least it is harmless nonsense. (Except the year that our idiot Mayor here, de Blasio, dropped the groundhog after it bit him with fatal results. Sadly, by that I mean that the fall proved fatal to the groundhog but de Blasio survived the bite.)

Staten Island Chuck has predicted an early spring.
Our asshole Mayor Bill de Blasio skipped the ceremony, much to the benefit of Chuck.
FYI, it was in 2014 that the asshole dropped the groundhog, which died a few days later of its injuries. 🙁 🙁
