Guilty Pleasures

I think there's a guilty pleasures thread lurking somewhere on the Silly Stuff subforum, but I thought it might be fun to have one on General Discussion that's arts-based. So we're talking music, films, books, TV shows etc - or maybe artists themselves, who knows - that are maybe a bit trashy, but you can't help liking them anyway!

I can understand that. 🙂 I used to be a fan of the show myself, but at some point the characters just got a bit too cosy with each other for my liking! I liked it better when there was more conflict and desperation. lol

Ha. Well I did wonder if Ms Cuoco might have something to do with this choice. 😀 Yeah... Maybe that's a doubly guilty pleasure, then - for which you must be awarded bonus guilt points! lol

Yeeaahhhh...my mother was originally and unfortunately still is against BDSM. My sister (and her wife) and myself (and my GF) are both practitioners of bondage and tickle torture and loved watching the stuff growing up. So, yeah, big time guilty pleasure. Well, less guilt and more me and my sis trying to hide it from our mother's prying eyes.

Me too!! As a scientist, it appeals to me. I also watch and DVR Jeopardy. Those are about the only two shows outside sports that I watch on TV.

Yeah, it's kind of like being beaten into submission by a Tex Avery cartoon. On meth. I don't know, something about how extremely imaginative and zany it was appealed to me when I was young.
