As Ross was racking his brain trying to figure out how to solve the massive computer crash at RossShell, Ross got a stunning phone call late one night It was Ross's lawyer.
"Ross, they have figured out how RossShell's computers and software crashed. Tazzio somehow hacked into the company computer software and system. and was trying to steal company information. He was trying to steal the company's private and client information . He has been arrested, and is being held. I suggest we go down to the policy station tomorrow, you press charges, and then I go for a restraining order against Tazzio for both you personally, and for the company, let's meet at the police station at 9 am, and then I will take the papers, go over to the Courthouse, and file a restraining order" Ross's lawyer said.
"Okay, thanks, see you in the morning" Ross said.
Ross clicked off the phone, and looked at Kayley lying next to him in bed.
"We have our answer. Tazzio hacked into the company's computer system. He has been arrested. I have to go down to the police station in the morning, and press charges" Ross said.
"Unfortunately, that does not surprise me" Kayley said.
"It does not surprise me either. I will deal with it. Please just go about your day and go into school. I'm a big boy I will figure all this out" Ross said.
Kayley kissed Ross. "I love you. We will get through this, and come out the other side just fine, like we did with George Borgier. " Kayley said.
Ross slept that night, and met his lawyer at the police station.
"Please press full charges against Tazzio if this turns out to be true. I am also going to file a restraining order against him for myself, my wife, and my company. Please just do what you can to deal with him law wise" Ross said.
"Yes, sir,. Mister Ross, he will be taken care of. I suspect the judge will throw the book at him. Until then please just go about trying to deal with rebuilding your company. This is an incident that is going to cost Tazzio dearly.
Just then, on the other side of the window, Tazzio was being led into a processing room. He broke away from an office, picked up a phone, and wanted to talk to Ross.
"I am going to get you, Ross if its the last thing I do!" Tazzio shouted.
"You are going to be too busy dealing with the charges against you , you piece of scum. My advice, stop threatening me and hacking my company, and develop some remorse and character. For all I care, they can put you away for life" Ross said.
Ross slammed the phone down, and walked away. He then pressed full charges against Tazzio.
"Tazzio has little if any money, Ross. It is unlikely he can even make bail. He likely will be here for a long time, and then will end up in prison" The cop said.
"Good, let the bum cool his heels in jail while I rebuild my company for my wife, myself, my clients, and my loyal employees who are so good to me, those are the only people who matter to me" Ross said.
When Ross got home, he lookeed at Ksyley and sighed.
"Full charges pressed against Tazzio. The SOB has no money to make bail. He will be in there for a long time" Ross said.
Kayley kissed Ross. "Good for you"
"Now, with the company system hacked, and rebuilding it going to take a while, I really do not want to farm out the work, as it is not professionally responsible. My idea, go down to OKC or Houston, combine a trip, and download all of my clients work to either Fritz or Steve's computers, and finish it all there. I am almost certain they will let me, after I do the usual oil and gas show. I am going to meet with Tim, Dave, and Larry and tell them all this, considering the situation. " Ross said.
"How long will you be gone?" Kayley asked.
"Considering the oil show, meetings, and the work, I figure a week. Care to join me?" Ross asked.
"Cannot. Summer School. Young minds to teach, remember?" Kayley said.
"Okay, sorry to leave, but this is the only way to do it safely until the company software is rebuilt and the anti hacking and antivirus software is rebuilt.
"Damn that fucking Tazzio,. I should press charges against him for ruining my sex life" Kayley said.
Ross called Tim, Fritz, Steve, Dave, and Larry and explained all this to them. They said they all understood, and Fritz and Steve would help him with his need.
Since Ross had time, he would go to OKC and Houston the following week. Until then, he would have nothing much to do.
"Tazzio just gave me a forced vacation. I'm going to of course pay all of my employees, as they need the money far more than we do. Then, we just wait" Ross said.
Ross took a deep breath.
The situation had been resolved. Tazzio had been revealed, caught, and was behind bars,. and Ross just had to wait out the rebuild of the office software as he was on the trip to OKC to show investors the oil wells, and do his work for the one time on Steve's computer.
Had this situation actually been resolved, or would an unexpected twist come?
That remained to be seen.
