In case you get tired of "The Monster Mash", here's four songs for your Halloween party this weekend.... 😉

something for all the monsters to dance to..... 😉
The Charts: Ooba Gooba

Some 80s for you........"Don't do that - do the tap! Harry's a wolfman, Harry's a wolfman!"
The Electric Guitars: Wolfman Tap

Demented, hilarious.....and terrifying!
The Monocles: The Spider & The Fly

TRULY terrifying and possibly the most psychedelic song ever recorded!
Jason Crest: Black Mass

From one of my favorite cult movies, Phantom of the Paradise. It's here every Halloween and they show it right before RHPS.

Faust

Upholstery {carburetors man, that's what life is all about}

Somebody Super Like You

Life At Last

Phantom's Theme

The Hell Of It

Screamin' Jay Hawkins {Tom Waits song} - Whistling Past The Graveyard

Not traditional Halloween songs, but I think they could work.

Gotta include this one
(edit: had I fully read the original post.....ah well, here the beast is)

Objection! If "Love Potion #9" is a Halloween song, it most definitely would be The Clovers version, not The Searchers! 😛 I just don't see those boys going across the tracks to see the gypsy, you know what I mean? 🙂

A few more for the party..... 😉

The Who: Boris The Spider

Elvis Costello: Ghost Train

The Specials: Ghost Town

The Cure: Subway Song
This song will scare the bejesus out of you if you're not careful......play loud, you'll see what i mean.....once it's too late!

Screamin' Jay.

Here's another one.

Good stuff! CCR does a pretty good version as well but Screamin' Jay is the man :moonbat:

Oingo Boingo - Dead Man's Party

Michael Jackson - Thriller

Blue Oyster Cult - Don't Fear The Reaper

It's hard coming up with Halloween songs, right? There's not a lot of them, and hardly any good ones! DJing Halloween night is hard!

However, here's one of the great Halloween songs...."Castin' My Spell On You" by Johnny Otis

The Sonics: The Witch

.....and of course.....

Warren Zevon: Werewolves Of London

^It can be I suppose, if you're looking for dance songs.

Type O Negative - Wolf Moon

Bad Moon Rising {An American Werewolf In London}

No, not dance songs. Party songs, up tempo songs, and most of all, GOOD songs.

No, it's not "it can be" it's " it is", I've had to do it, more than once. Xmas, Valentines Day, 4th of July....all easier, way more material to choose from.

Just rewatched "An American Werewolf In London" a couple of months ago! That movie has TOTALLY held up, totally one of the greats!

That's your opinion about Halloween music and you're entitled to it, but it's isn't mine. Who can't find Christmas or Valentines Day music? I have no clue what you play on the 4th of July, we celebrate on July 1st and anything goes, well not anything. It's basically a drunken party with fireworks and a busy day for the police and firefighters.

Waaaaaaaaooooooooooooooo!

The Shaggs: It's Halloween!

I just realized it's Halloween! Better start thinking about a costume! lol. It's between Bullwinkle....... and the great French statesman George Clemenceau, I just can't decide which! You?

Black Sabbath: Black Sabbath

Landscape: Norman Bates

The New York Dolls: Frankenstein

Bauhaus: Bela Lugosi's Dead

Robyn HItchcock & The Egyptians: My Wife And My Dead Wife

Frank Zappa: Goblin Girl

Pink Floyd: One Of These Days

Johnny Winter: Frankenstein

Howlin' Wolf: Somebody In My Home

Don't eat too much candy! Throw up all over the place like I did, first period, 9th grade, o what a sight, what a mess!

Here's a GREAT a cappella medley of Halloween-y songs from the third season of The Sing-Off:

And on that note, let's enjoy Marilyn Manson's take on the main theme from The Nightmare Before Christmas:
