Hanky Code

There was another thread on here about how we need some sort of universal tickling symbol. Here's a possible solution. My friend at work the other day was telling me about a 'hanky code' and brought this booklet on it to work and showed it to me. He got it in a gay leather bar. I guess it's more widely used among gay people, though I'm sure there are plenty of straight people into these things that use the code too. There doesn't appear to already be a hanky for tickling... at least there wasn't in that booklet and on the site. So I suggest we come up with one.

I'd say that since things that aren't really hankies can be used (mosquito netting, for outdoor sex; an empty baggie for 'in need of drugs' etc.), then tickling people could use something like a feather in the pocket. It would be easy, just any feather would do, since it would mean the same thing.

Its a good ideal but it should be something a little less obvious so everyone doesn't ask you "Why the heck is there a feather in your pocket?". Unless, of course, you are at some fetish gathering where you could say it means I'm into tickling and not worry about the reactions people would give you. If we could find something subtle that we could wear all the time it would be a great way to meet other tickling enthusiasts.

It's been a while but I seem to recall having this discussed in a "tickle e-mail circle" a cuople years ago.

I seem to recall someone saying something about an orange ink pen. Wouldn't that be nifty. Anyone 'round here recall this?

Yup...

We all ended up talking to architects and geeks who like orange as though they were one of the brethren...didn't work out well..lol! And as for around Halloween..don't even get me started on that fiasco! Q
