Exactly one year ago, the new TMF was founded (April 3rd, 2001)! After the usual baby problems, it has grown considerably. It weighs 3845 members now, and measures over 11000 threads.

Let's celebrate! And let's take a moment to think about Psycho/Scott/ReturnToGod who actually created this site. Whatever his present path may be, I thank him for this safe harbor for tickle fans from all over the world. And a heartfelt thanks to all members!

I can't believe it's been a year already! Jeff and Myr, you guys have done a fantastic job of keeping things rolling, as have all of the Moderators. A lot of hairy stuff went down this year, and it was handled with the dignity and professionalism we've come to expect.

The TMF has grown into much more than just another tickling website...it's become a sort of "home-base" for tickling enthusiasts and producers alike. We've gotten to know each other a lot over the last 12 months, and it's a real hoot getting to know people's other interests as well. The General Discussion Forum really sets us apart from other sites...I've always believed that people need more than just one common interest to really become friends. I have met some very close and personal friends through the TMF (Venray, Venraya, Jen, Pete, Mimi, Lite, Myriads, DVNC, QB, TTD, Shem...the list goes on and on) and our little place on the Web has been resposible for bringing more than a few couples together.

Here's to another year of relative peace and harmony. Let's continue to share, bond and come together as an ever-growing community.

This is truly a wonderful place and all the "old timers" (am I one of those? DEAR ME! LOL!) know how fantastic it is to have so much on our favorite subject centralized!

So the TMF is a year young eh? Hey-ho, how time does fly. I for one hope that we'll all still be here in 20 years time. I agree that this site is so much more than any other "tickling site." This isn't just a site, it's a community. There are more facets to this place than any other and the links to all the video sites are excellent.
Here's a cold beer and a hot dog with mustard, to anyone who thinks the next year is gonna be even better!
 
To think that we have been around here interacting for a YEAR already! Looking forward to the next and all those that follow.

Due to threads like this one, and, as Dave2112 mentioned, the General Discussion Section, this place feels like much more than just a tickling website. My hats off to all involved in creating, running, and administering the Forum, as well as all who contribute. Happy Birthday indeed!
