Yes i know i'm a day early...but this young lady deserves a week long celebration in her honor...some of you know her as Nicole Skye..the author of those fabulous stories, including "Games People Play" an award winning tale which was written in intricant and descriptive style...Nicole doesn't talk much here but when she does...wow...her posts are geniune and real...her thread "mmm the thrill of it all" garnered some hot posts...

She is my hero...my best friend...who i love unconditionally and who loves me the same..who is always there if i need her..even in the midst of her own problems...

Nicole hon....you deserve the best birthday....i can't wait for the day we finally meet in person...and can have all that girlie fun we always talk about...love you loads...:wub

Awww Mel, thank you so much for this thread.

Yesterday turned out not to be the best of days. Here's the readers digest version…. Yesterday My Dad bumped into the stove with his hip which accidently turned on the center stovetop gas burner. (Now I all ready know that you can see exactly where this tale is headed) He and I were going to go out to lunch and since he had to take a shower, I thought I’d lay down for a bit. The phone rang, an important call I’d been waiting on since Monday and I went downstairs to get the info needed for the call. I noticed a funny smell but was too pre occupied to pay too much attention to it. After the call, I started looking for why I’d smell something akin to rotten eggs. (Yes I had a blonde moment *Sorry Mel * and totally spaced out on the obvious reason.) It took me talking to another friend and as I was vocalizing out loud what I smelled the light bulb FINALLY went off and I discovered why my kitchen, dining room and den smelled like gas!! I opened as many windows as I could and Dad and I took off for the afternoon. The actual longer story is more intense and frightening but if I told it here it would no longer qualify as the readers digest version.

Anyway, thank you again Mel, you know I love and appreciate your friendship so much!!! :hug:

I seem to have permanent fingerprint marks in my back from where Mel pushed me into posting Games; If left to my own devices I might not have.
