Happy Pi Day! ...and some really soothing music.

It's March 14th, 3.14, Pi Day! What kind of pie are you baking? I'm doing a pine nut pie, just a pecan pie, but with pine nuts since my princess is allergic to pecans.

The website below is designed mostly for K-12 teachers, but it does have Pi Day carols, the original Pi Day rap video, and a link to let you find your phone number or birthday in Pi.

The link below has Pi set to music. If you click on the Play button, the visual shows you what it's doing, but I found that if I download the file and set the player to loop, the result is surprisingly soothing, even if it does make me hungry for teppan shrimp and some saki, then maybe a massage... OK! I'm back.

I checked out the site, it's cute and serious. At first I thought these are some silly after-effects of brain collision on the other thread. I was about to assume the key is in Zb-minor, but Ludolph! 😱

Now I'm beginning to miss a lot of academics, especially formula derivations...and trigonometry (the derivation of pi formula) etc.

You can go here and search for any set of numbers in the first 200 million digits of Pi. I found my phone number, my birthday, my dad's birthday, my cell number, and bunch of other numbers. It's awesome.
