i think this guy is a jack-ass and i think what he did to Matt last week was really uncalled for if these guys had to get beat to prove respect, Dont u think Al snow Would have done it already? Bob Holly is one thing: the most bitter jober in the WWE. plus he went on wwe.com and said that matt was a big wimp what the hell is wrong

He is just pissed cause no one likes him, and noone ever will. Everytime I am watching wrestling, whenever he comes on, it's time to see what else is on. I would like to see him try that on a guy like Brock Lesner....lol...he would get his ass kicked.

Hardcore Holly is just a typical bully flexing his muscles. I do agree it was a good idea to prepare Matt for any a-holes he may encounter in his future. But that wasn't the right way to present it.
I can understand how the kid would feel to have his trust betrayed. Plus any professional wrestler (who knows what he's doing)will tell you , if you know what to do and barring any unfortunate accidents, you shouldn't get hurt in the ring. Unless of coarse an asshole wrestler purposely punches you in the eye and mouth.

Bob claims that he was trying to prepare the kids for the reality of what they could experience in the ring. That's all fine and dandy. But, if that was his intention, he should have said so before entering the ring with Matt and allowed him to be prepared to face that kind of beating. I'm sure the reaction would have been much different.

even if he didnt tell Matt beforehand, he should have at least talk to him afterwards and explain himself. that is why Bob Holly isnt one of the top stars. he needs to re-examine himself. the strangest thing is, he was an okay guy during Tough Enough 2. what happened?

Ice: During a training match with the kids, Holly beat one of them, Matt, bloody -- deliberately, claiming that he was just preparing Matt for what he might experience in the ring one day.

While it's true there are always going to be guys like William Regal, the Acolytes, or, yes, Holly, who work stiff (and usually expect their opponents to treat them the same way), it was an abuse of the teacher/student relationship for him to do that to Matt with no warning. I study karate, and if one of the instructors were to put a beating on me to prepare me for "a real fight," that would be the last class I ever showed up for. And for Holly to be proud of what he did is even worse.

Incidentally, Krokus, part of the reason you don't see Holly on TV much anymore is that he did try to get stiff with Brock Lesnar -- so Brock just dropped him on his head. That put an end to that pretty quick.

I remember hearing about that, but I never saw the match...did he do it with the F-5?
