Harvest Moon: LoH Sucks

Hi All! I was really pumped up for the release of Harvest Moon: Light of Hope today, but it was raining so I didn't get to go get it.

However, I did watch a Lets Play of it on Youtube [dude was playing it on Steam], and I have to say, it seems a little too storyline driven. Harvest Moon games never gave the player that much freedom anyway, but it seems that the only choose in this one is gender, birthday, name.

Nintendo is really blowing it with the Switch, I mean game wise [good ideas, bad execution].

And, This is coming from a long time Nintendo/Harvest Moon fan.

I think that 'Stardew Valley' is the best 'Harvest Moon' game you can buy. I love the amount of freedom it gives you.

I got to agree with you, Mr.T. I played Stardew Valley on X-one, and it was totally fun, borderlineing on addictive. (After they fixed the year 2 glitch, that is)

But, I haven't hooked my Switch up to the net yet, so I wouldn't have to start (again) with the almost endless updates

I know what you mean. Sometimes I'm eager to start playing, but I have to sit through a bunch of updates, and it kills the mood for me.

I hear that. I really miss the old days. you could buy a game and play it, now, you buy a game, have to install it, wait on the update. Now, I don't know about you but by the time I get around to playing the game, I'm already over it.
