What the hollywood brother is wondering is what in the blue hell is there for the hollywood brother to do in St. Louis? all the hollywood brother knows is that good tasteing all american hollywood brother approved beer is born there and that Fred G. Hey HB,

I use to live there. Actually not a whole lot to do out there. Are they tearing down the arch too or just the stadium? The arch is cool, fun trip to the top. Be a pitty if they tore it down. Not sure when you are going. But around 4th of July they close the area near the arch and there is like a big fair. All sorts of food, drink, shows, etc. forget what they call it, but it's lots of fun. The zoo isn't bad if you're into that kind of thing. Had some pretty good clubs too. I saw "The Who" at the Stadium for their last concert, 3rd row, nice. I'd say it's worth the trip, HB. Definitely worth one of those "been there, seen that" things.

Sorry for the shouting. I spent one weekend in KC, and it was the most boring weekend of my life. KC and Cleveland are two cities that should be avoided at all costs.

In my opinion, of course. I'm sure the residents of those towns will have a rebuttal.

the hollywood brother aprecaites his fans input. the hollywood brother may have to take a trip out there to see the former phillie scott rolen play some great third base and the hollywood brother got to tour the old beer place and see how bud is made first hand. a all american road trip to a beer processing plant seems right up the hollywood brother's alley

whoa whoa whoa! how you gonna go diss my town like that? I mean..hell..We are the largest poor city in america, our sports teams always suck ass, there isnt shit to do, and some musicians even skip out on coming to the town..oh yeah..and the air quality is graded at F..Plus we may be the only city without a bypass around it...whats not Great about Cleveland?! lmao..Actually all we got going for us is Lebron James, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Halle Berry. 😀

Well, maybe this isn't exactly a rebuttal, but I grew up in Cleveland. Yeah, the town's certainly got its problems, but it was actually a decent place to grow up. Then again, I grew up in the 'burbs, not the city proper. (OK, I did live in Cleveland proper for a while, but very close to the 'burbs.) Fans of classical music will know that Cleveland's got the top-rated symphony in the world. Good museums, too, if you're into that. And a good zoo. But with all that said, I wouldn't move back. As a fellow Cleveland native put it, "Cleveland's a good place to be from." (The emphasis there is on the word "from.")

As for KC, I had friends there, so it was therefore a fun place for me to hang out occasionally. But I also had fun there when I first visited, and at that time I hadn't made those friends yet. I guess I'm just the type who can have fun wherever he goes.

The point is, give those cities a try and decide for yourself. Maybe you'll find them OK, or maybe you'll find them boring, as Thanatos did. But two cities that should be avoided at all costs, even if you're just visiting? Come on!

Yeah..I lived for a year inside the cleveland area..it wasnt too bad on the far eastside of Cleveland. No real trouble that I ever had. Ive mainly lived my life for all but one other year right within 30mins of Cleveland. Anywhere from Westlake to just south of Sandusky..Westlake is the upscale western Suburb of Cleveland..really nice, expensive area but becoming a lot of fun with the Addition of Dave and Barry's Bar and Game place and the Crocker Park outdoor mall and city. Promenade is nice too, just to go to the Borders and kick back and read some mags and books. Cleveland is actually a good place to be from. The area I am in is actually starting to get worse all around me with murders and drug sells and im wanting out. Its far worse than cleveland right now according to one statistic. Ah well, I wanna move out to western Ohio near Toledo area anyways, before eventually leaving this state. I wouldnt avoid Cleveland at all..I wanna visit all the big cities before my time is gone on this world.

the hollywood brother has been to cleveland and liked it brother. True there are bums there begging for money but the hollywood brother sees that everywhere. The hollywood brother do not think people should diss cleveland because it has a nice waterfront, two great stadiums and the rock and roll hollywood brother hall of fame.
