I was wondering if anyone else out there has experienced a problem that recently arrived at my door, no pun intended (ok, maybe it way intended...).
The other day, much to my horror, I get the mail and *surprise* there's mail containing a little catalogue full of advertisements for smut 1-900 lines, 1-800 lines, and smut web sites. When I say smut I mean sticking things where they don't belong and such, ironically they offered everything but tickling. Anyway, here's the problem, I don't frequent smut websites or video-makers. I've never signed up for any kind of mailing list for such material, yet there was my full address with zip code plus four and everything. Included was a card noting what a valuable customer I was (???) and that to be removed from the mailing list I could check a box and mail it back in.
Now of course I'm not so stupid as to mail the card, I know enough about spam to know doing such only verifies my address as a valid address to send smut-mail to. I took the matter to the postal service but that isn't the point of this post. The question is, "How did I end up on their mailing list?"
There are only two companies that I deal with that sell what can be considered pornographic videoes. That would be TC Videos (aka Femfeet, aka Realticking, you get the drift) and Footparadise. If TC Videos is now selling their buyers-list to smut companies it would shock the heck out of me, they didn't strike me as that kind of company. Footparadise would be idiots to do something like that, as it would tank their business if they got caught, but then again I remember getting some potentially embaressing advertisements sent to my home by them several months ago. There was an outcry over the matter in the "tickling" community and they havn't done it since, if you go back through the threads on this forum you'll find the incident I am talking about.
Here's my question, has anyone else had this kind of trouble? Essentually I am trying to determine whether someone is selling their address list for an easy buck (in which case I'm have to take some kind of further action to keep this out of my household's mail) OR if I have a possible identity theft issue here. It has to be one of those two causes, I refuse to believe that a pornography dealer would just randomly send mail like normal junkmail, not only is it expensive put potentially illegal if you address it to a minor.
Well, that was a mouthful. If anyone else has received any unsolicited garbage which was unrelated to tickling please respond, we might be able to figure out the common source. Otherwise, thanks for reading my post and hopefully the same never happens to you.
Take Care,
Hajak60
