called a 1800 number on the tv and then asked the operator if they had ticklish feet? I don't recommend doing this because the operators have the calls they receive counted and if they don't log a certain number of them as orders, then they get written up or fired. I was thinking about my job, mainly quitting, and I remembered that I had this one guy call me 4 or 5 times and ask if I had ticklish feet, if I would be suprised if someone came up to me and tickled my soles if I would laugh or giggle, etc. His "cover" was that he was conducting a poll for the mag, Cosmo. At the time I was pissed off because he ruined my order conversion for that day and almost got me fired, but now that I look back at it, it was kinda funny. So, was it any of you?

Well......

If you had just answered him, Venray wouldn't have had to keep calling you back...lol.

It wasn't me, Limeoutsider.
PS I like your new signature. Created by Venray, I presume? He has done so many of them for members here.

I used to work for an airline as an international travel rep and when I worked the graveyard shift (830pm to 5am) we got some **freaks** who would call, and one call I got and will remember for the rest of my life.....

I got this call around 2am, when it was pretty dead and myself and about 5 others manning the phones. This guy called, and wanted to book a reservation for 2 people the very next day in 1st class from Chicago O'Hare to Aruba.

He went on and on about how they were a honeymoon couple and would spend 2 weeks in Aruba on a "fuck-fest" (that's what he referred to the honeymoon over and over.... by that time, I pretty much figured it was a crank call)

He was acting as if he was having sex and making the phone call to me at the same time and kept saying to his partner "Shake that thing, baby. You know what daddy wants to see".

When I finally got around to ask for the names of the passengers it was "John and Mike".

You would be suprised at how many freaks come out of the woodwork, after midnite.

These calls were at 11 am, 1 pm, you know, regular times that you arent suppost to get "obscene" phone cal

I make prank calls to 1-800 numbers from pay phones with my friends all the time. (never do it from a home phone. This is a common sense precaution.) But no, Lime, I did not do that. Although now I might...😀

My best so far was to 1-800-VISIT-PA. I kept a very serious tone in a very deep, gruff voice. I told the person I was calling to order a travel guide. Made up a bunch of false information, then they asked my address. I told them I didn't know what it was. When they told me they needed an address to send the guide to, I said: (enraged tone) "You will send me a travel guide or be eaten by the worm from hell!"

Another time, after a prank call, the pay phone rang, and I picked it up and pretended to fly into a rage.

I've developed another "routine" kind of thing, but haven't gotten a chance to try it yet.

Lime, your company doesn't have call ID? Is your work number listed here on the forum or was this a joke? One time I call a 1-800 number LOL not to make a prank call although I did do that myself in college ahhhh those were the good old days! 😀 Anyway, a friend told me to call 1-800-Get Avon, I did and this guy answers and this rocking music is playing and he says.....Ah baby, you dialed the number you know you want it! 😱 I started laughing and hung up and was blushing as if someone could see me! LOL I started to call back and say "yeah baby, I dialed the number and you know I want so give it to me!:wow: :sowrong: No! I didn't! That was so funny🙂

"Eaten by the worm from hell!" !??!?! Damn, that's funny!

I actually heard about someone else getting called or somehow otherwise interviewed by this Cosmo guy. He must have been busy!
