having trouble getting into chatroom

I've always been able to log in fine..even just a few days ago.
Now when I go to the chat room page, I'm getting a "Loading Java Applet Failed" error across the very bottom left corner of the screen. And the button to click to get into the chatroom is just an empty box with an X in it. Can anyone help?

The chat room server has made some changes and we need to work out a few bugs on our end to get everything in working order again. Admin is on top of it, though, and we should be good to go again in the next day or two. Just hang in there. 😉

A liitle sparse on icons and emotes but the basics are there.

Ming, whenever I've not been able to get in, Myriads has advised me to go to www.sunmicrosystems.com, and download a new java. Chances are, you either have no java, or one which is bad. There is an option on there called get java. Click it, and it should download. Depending on your connection, it can take anywhere from a few minutes, to maybe a half hour. This is what the mods have always advised me, and it has solved the problem for me. Hopefully, it will help you. Good Luck.
