You mean Pogo Poss<u>u</u>m, right? Yet the spelling Pogo Possom seems to pop up every once in a while.
What exactly makes this comic worthwhile? I mean, is it worth more of my while than, say, Sam and Max? Or The Maxx?

The Word Play..
And the hilarious characters. Walt Kelly wrote excellent satire which still applies today. No one was a better artist, and his subplots are awesome.
I recommend Will Be That Was a collection of two Pogo Anthologies. You'll love it.
Yes it's Pogo Possum. I read Pogo first when I ws in High School and STILL love it years later.
