Today,. I ate in.. what was.. in my opinion, the worst restaurant since I;ve been back in NY.
I met my friend Adam for lunch in Manhattan. We went to a place called Heartland in Times Square.
First.. for a cool.. $13, they served me a tiny burger that was burned to a frazzle. After I complained, and ordered chicken fingers.. said order came.. also, tiny, and burned to a frazzle. The meal ended up costing me $20. When I got home to Forest Hills, I was still hungry, so I went to Boston Market for a second lunch of a turkey platter, that was far more satisfying, and cheaper, than the "meal" I had at Heartland.
Have any other forum members tried Heartland? If so, what were the thoughts? If you haven't, my advice would be to avoid it at all costs. It's expensive, the portions are tiny, and the food, in my opinion, is lousy.
