Heinz commerical banned for gay kiss.

Apparently, Heinz made a commerical for their Deli Mayo product line that's caused a bit of a stir.

It starts with a deli man behind a kitchen counter....two British kids approach him for lunch. He talks to them in a NYC accent, and gives them their lunch. They call him "mum".

Then their father comes down and talks to the deli man and gets ready to leave. Deli man says "Ain't you forgettin' sumthin'?" and the share a small peck on the lips.

Heinz received a bunch of complaints about airing a commercial that showed a gay kiss/gay relationship.

Nobody seems to be getting the joke/punchline of the commerical. What they're saying is that if you use Heinz Deli Mayo, it's like having a NYC deli man in your kitchen. The deli man is supposed to be their mom.

That was great! Nothing beats a good NYC deli sandwich. I mean, a pound of corned beef on rye -- ya can't go wrong. It's amazing that in the states we can deal with as much violence as comes down the pike, but a little gay-ity makes everyone throw a shit fit. Sad.
