Hello! I'm a new person, and, well, I decided to join the great ranks of the TT! I've lurked for a while and decided to come out of the closet, so to speak. But anyways, I hope I posted this in the right section; nothing worse than getting off to a bad start... Then again, maybe procrastinating my first post could be 2nd worse, by rambling, like I am now. Err, crud.

But anyways, hello! ^^;

Though I noticed I can't seem to put up an avatar or a signature. Or even PM someone to ask about that. Do those privelages become 'unlocked' so to speak, as your number of posts increases?

Yeah, the ability to put those in becomes avaliable as soon as you reach 10 posts. So just keep looking around topics, find stuff to post about, and you'll have them before you know it. 🙂

This'll be like hitting level 2 and getting 'Ultima' or 'Meteor.' :3

Well, we have levels like that too. You unlock some avatars at ten posts, and more at twenty five posts, and as you post here, your level grows, and you get new rankings. As you can see, I'm a Legendary Member, which comes from getting 5,000 posts. As you post, you will get new titles. Just don't post a bunch in a topic at once. That's called spamming, and of course is frowned upon.😛 But just keep things cool, post anywhere you'd like, and you'll do just fine.

I think it's a great idea, personally. Having run my own forum for a long time, I know how much of a pain it is to have someone register, upload an avatar, a bunch of signature images, and other garbage, only to never post at all.

No, but there is a big enough place for it. We call it the Godmodding Thread. Anything goes there. In fact, in that thread, the world gets blown up at least every other week. If you feel like letting out your inner Mage or Summoner, that's a good spot for it.
