I usually never post here. Actually I never have! Basically I'm just here to ask for some support and/or kind words about what's going on with my life. I know, that sounds pathetic but I have a lot going on right now and could use support and fresh ideas!
I'm a 22yr old female who's a first generation college student. It's been a LONG road to get to where I am, but I'm proud of making it here.
I'm about to graduate in May. I have been accepted to an internship this summer. I have applied for Grad schools and I should be hearing from one this week. That is super stressful too! It's only 51 days until I graduate. I'm starting to feel the struggle and stress of finishing college. I'm constantly working on my senior thesis. If I'm not doing that then I'm working at my job.
I go to class all day then work at night. I also commute and with the Baltimore beltway I am a solid hour from home to school. I used to live on campus but this past year I decided that I needed to move back home 🙂 I usually don't mind the commute but it wears on ya.
I'm incredibly lucky to be where I am, but there are times when it just feels like it won't let up. Finding people who relate to the struggle of being a first generation working college student who's graduating isn't easy.
I'm just looking for some love as I'm a little down.
Thanks Babes!
