Hello, and nice to meet you all.

It is so nice to discover a place like this. Nothing I can say about the charms of tickling that have not been said. And the sounds, how can anybody resist them?

We all hear about being woken up in a hotel room by banging headboard next door, but only once in my life have I ever been awakened by a giggle. I thought I was dreaming but when it happened again, and again..I awoke with a start. I realized a woman was being tickled next door. I shouldn't admit this, but I quietly got a drinking glass from on top of the dresser and out it against the wall. Now I could hear the movements...the faint rustle of the sheets..then a giggle. The frequency increased until they began to turn to squeals. That is when it stopped. I had spent nearly an hour listening to a tickle session.

Has this ever happened to anybody else?

Good to have you on the forum, thanks for joining!

Hello TickleLover,

Welcome to the TMF🙂 Nice little story! It's just enough to make me visualize it and wish it HAD happened to me. 😀

Looking forward to seeing more future posts from you.🙂

Similar experiences...

Welcome TickleLover!

Your story reminded me of an experience many years ago: We had a big travel industry congress in St.Moritz (Switzerland), where I was one of the speakers. As the night before had expanded into a very long party, I decided to skip the afternoon excursion to have a little nap in my hotel room.

The whole hotel was reserved for this congress, and I thought I'd be the only guest staying in that afternoon. I was wrong: in the room above mine, a man and a woman held an extended tickle session! I happened to know both of them rather well (I recognized their voices), and I understood almost every word of their 'conversation'. Needless to say that there was no nap that afternoon... 😀

At dinner (rather casual atmosphere), I met both of them, and I just didn't know what to say! The woman had one of her legs drawn up to the bench she was sitting on, the foot tucked under her other thigh, pointing to her 'tickle partner' who gave her a brief foot tickle every now and then. She had a wonderful giggle! My mouth kept watering, but I was almost unable to eat... 🙂

On this board there are at LEAST 3 people who remember being awakened from like noises, as a number of the West Coast crew headed out to NEST last year in spring, and all stayed at the same hotel, thanks to QB's coordination. In said hotel, a few of us "grouped" our rooms, to avoid traumatizin' others with our noise. The result? Walkin' around our rooms always had such sounds. So did the other floors, in spots, where folks had gone off to play one-on-one, as opposed to the small party going on in our area.

Never heard such when it wasn't related to NEST, though. Some folks in California have heard such, though, 'cause we've held events here, in hotels, and played at each of 'em.

D'oh! I do apologize. NEST is an event in Philedelphia, run by Max Speer, wherein folks of our interest can meet and play. Like a gathering, but a LOT larger in numbers. 😉 Max has had events with over 50 people, in one flat. I believe the NEST acronym is short for the North East Soceity of Ticklephiles, but Max would know best. I've seen it quoted as New England Soceity of Ticklephiles, the North Eastern Soceity of Ticklers, etc. It's all NEST, and thus, it's all good.

NEST notification would be posted in the Gatherings section, in the directory for the Eastern events. When? Don't yet know. When we know, you'll know.

Welcome ticklelover...

Wow! I was things like that would happen to me.🙁

As a matter of fact...

Back in '93, my Girlfriend and I were at a Holiday Inn with a bunch of friends for a New Year's Eve package deal. Long story short, after the party, Stacy and I disappered into our room where I proceeded to tie her to the pull out bed (more anchor points than a standard boardless hotel bed) and tickle her. Ten minutes into this I get a call from the desk asking if everything was alright as they've gotten a call that there was anoise of some concern eminating from an adjoining room.

Realizing that we didn't want everyone to know what was going on, but determined to continue, I gagged her and fun was had by all.

Thank you

Thank you for the nice welcomes. And thank you for the explanation of NEST. How exciting to be with so many tickling enthusiasts; of course it wouldn't be as good without a good number of ticklish ladies.

I will always remember that night, that helpless voice (trying to be quiet) gasping, "you like this too much.." right after one particularly desperate giggle; and began to giggle again halfway through the sentence.

My question is, how many of us would pay a premium to get a room next to the tickle room...🙂

...and isn't it better to simply attend one of the many public Gatherings being held, coast to coast in the US?

Check the gatherings section, brother. There's events all over. Even when considering flying to one, it beats not ever seeing a room full of players, tickling and/or being tickled at various points, all while you get to talk over whatever interests each other with folks who all have your same focused interest.

Yeah, the play is good. No big surprise there. It's more than that. It's a visible sign that you aren't the only one, and that this isn't all a big complex AI scheme, backed by two geeks. Gatherings disprove the notion that Myriads and Jeff made up the other hosts as part of an artificial intelligence, AND they're fun.

It's how I get to spend next weekend. It's how I'll spend the new years celebrations. It's great to meet the other kids in class, and it's the cost of travel. When you find the local one, for you, that takes away the only obstruction. From there, you can perpetuate your attendance, and/or step it up by organizing and/or attending play parties. I'm spending regular time attending these, now, too.

All that, and you don't have to adopt a new wardrobe or language. No funny accoutrement. Personally, I'd dig such, but many find it tiresome, so it's not there.

Seriously, bein' next door IS cool to experience, when no other option exists, but attending these is just a BIG step up. There's events all over, every month there's an event some where. You just have to find out where, and attend one or more.

pitching what I host,

TickleLover

It is obvious that you have never been in the same city as me, let alone the same motel. LOL
