Help converting video files

Does anyone know how to (if possible) convert RealVideo files to .avi., .mpg, or any other format compatible with Windows Media Player or Divx?

Media Cleaner Pro will work, but it costs money...

Check CNet.com because they have a lot of programs, some for free, some cost money.

I checked out the programs on that previous thread as well as a couple on CNET, and none of them seemed to even work on my computer for some reason. It's really no big deal, I suppose, I just have some TV shows on Real Video (the only format I've been able to find these eps in) and I prefer WMP files, particularly for file sharing purposes.

Anyone know if I need some particular software to go along with this type of program, maybe that's why they wouldn't work?
