I would like to be able to modify some photos to alter the identity then post them on this website as part of my "Rasputin's Reign" series. Basically it will be the blue dot, but without the blue dot. I have the express written consent of the subject.

I would like to do this with some discretion to conceal our identities. Nothing shady going on...we just want to keep this secret from prying eyes.

Do I need to post these pics to a separate website, then link them here? How do I put up some good pictures to go with my great stories?

Thanks for your input. Don't forget to dumb it down!

By the way what is "HTML"....not by definition, but by practical application?

Well, once you have the images edited/whatever, posting them to the TMF is quite simple. You can upload them via the attachment feature. Here's the lowdown:

--Start a new thread or reply to an existing one, whatever you intend to do. Wait until the "Reply to Topic/Post New Thread" page completely loads.

--Look beneath the box where you type your post, in the box labled "Additional Options."

--See "Attach Files?" This is where you'll go. Click where it says "Manage Attachments." A window should pop up. If it does not, you may need to disable any popup blockers you may be using.

--Once the new window is open, go to the first "Browse" button anc click it. Another wee window will pop up.

--In this window, navigate to where you saved your picture. Select it and click "Open." That window should close and text should appear in the white box next to the "Browse" button you just clicked. Look for the "Upload" button.

--Click the "Upload" button and wait. When the file is uploaded, you should see it present below the "Browse" buttons.

--Close the mini-window and go back to typing your new thread/post. The image will be there when you post it.

Do I need to clarify anything?

EDIT: HTML is the language websites are built on. It enebles the web designer to set up and lay out sites, inserting content and multimedia. It is the backbone of your browser.

Huh????????

It will probabably make more sense.....

Unfortunately, the Xananx and Vicodin, washed down with a twelve pack of Dort Gold, are kicking in, and make everything fuzzy and hard to comprehend.

I will reply after I try your advice once.

Are your walls breathing?

A moment of clarity...

I read your post again and it made sense. I always thought that jpegs had to be taken from a website where the images already were posted.

I will give it the old college try first thing in the morning!
