I noticed the "idiot" thread is locked.

Heh, "Golden Rule" - everyone gets antsy on here from time to time. Very few get banned. Drew70 did a lot more than just use "idiot" before he got bounced (yet still came back on for a little while). There's always some randomness when it come to subjectivity and enforcement. That's why the mods have a tough job; there's no exact science to member-driven website content.

It is forum policy to not delete accounts. Simply abandon it.

You can clear all profile information from your account by the CP area. All that will remain is the user name, and your posts.

And you didn't get banned for calling someone an idiot. You got banned for quite a bit more that followed when a mod asked you to stop calling folks idiot and you had a difference of opinion.

Your ban was coming up for review by me not long after the banning, but as you told me at the time that you were leaving the forum I assumed that there was no reason to follow up on it as you were gone.

It's like Myriads said. No one's gonna delete your account or clean up your mess for you. Unfortunately, you'll have to do the tedious work of clearing your profile and deleting any posts you don't want anymore.

I understand that mods are not paid, but a little help in cleaning up this mess would be greatly appreciated.

Didn't mean to call your account a mess, was just using your own words. I reiterated the information because you continued to ask for help deleting your posts / account even though it seemed clear that won't happen from Myriads post.

And as I said, I was prepared to evaluate your chat ban when you wrote me a month back and said you were leaving. Clearly you chose not to, as we are having this discussion. Is the evaluation still desired?
