help! monitor?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me. I must of erased something off my computer. If I click on properties, settings, i only have 2 or 16 colours to choose from. Did i lose my monitor drivers? Everything seems bigger and looks different. How do I download more drivers, or whatever I need.

Sounds like you really deleted your graphic-card driver. Do you still have the original install CD-ROMs (or discs) that came with it? If so, just install it again. If not, you'll need to look what kind of graphics-card you're using, go to the producer's home-page, and download the most recent driver from there. If you need help on that, I'll gladly run you through it on a step-by-step basis 🙂

step by step would be great, I'm kinda lost when it comes
to this kinda thing.I have some driver discs but i'm not sure if have the right ones. My computer monitor is called Azura. What would the drivers be called. thx soo much

You'd normally need to re-install the driver for your video-device (graphics-card), not your monitor. What kind of video-device are you using? Since it doesn't seem to work correctly anymore, you won't be able to find out under Windows, but you can find out by either opening up your casing and looking at the card that has the monitor plugged into it, or else by looking at the screen during the first part of the boot-up sequence. At the top, it'll say what kind of video-card is being used.

It would probably be better to do this through chat or relay chat. Do you have any programs like AIM, ICQ, YahooIM?
