Help with RM clips.

I have a couple of hundred clips on my computer and until 8 or 10 months ago they all worked fine. But after that I started getting problems with certain ones of them. They refuse to play and a sign comes up saying "Needs new software to play clip". This is quite frustrating as it worked fine on the OLD software.

When it takes me to the RM site to download more software, it says it cannot find an update that is suitable.😕 😕 😕


I think it might work if I could use Windows Media Player to play them instead, (the original software I used to play them) but I know so little about computers that I don't know how to change the prefered format back. Can anyone advise?

if it`s not updates,and im assuming that it`s not if you`ve got the preferences set to allow updates,try removing player and reinstalling it mate,it might be corrupted.real ones a pain anyway with it`s spyware and auto running shit in the background,if you e-mail me i`ll tell you how to disable all the bloatware in it,lol.😉
