Why don't the TMF chatroom work for me? When I try to enter I get it looking like a forum and this empty box with a colorful thing in the upper left corner.

If the 'colorful thing' is a box with a colored circle triangle and square in it, then the problem is that you need to update your Java. Go to Sun.com and pick the correct Java for your system/browser. Then things should work.

I don't know anything about Java or what it is,etc. Im not very computer deep so to speak. I went to that site and its all greek to me😛 I don't know what to download.

You need to download the Java plug in that matches your computer system and the browser that you use. It's a bit different for every system, so I can't provide step by step instructions.
