Hey,

So I wanted your guys' opinion on something. I have written stories in the past, but it's been several years since I've updated. I was wondering whether you think I should revamp the stories, or just start fresh and work on some new stories? Any advice would be much appreciated.

What do you think you will enjoy the most?

I have done a mix of the two- some of the stories I posted were new, some were in my hard drive from years ago, and one was a shameless adaptation of someone else's work (sorry!).

It's what makes you happiest and what you feel inspired to do that's important.

Give revamping your old stories a try. If you're uncertain about whether or not it will help you, then that's the only way to find out.

I usually side with new stuff rather than returning to old things, mostly because I like exploring new... well, everything really. On the other hand there's a level of depth that you can't get to on a single-story basis, so there's that to consider. Maybe a new story that visits something you've already done, rather than a full on revamp of an older one? Not necessarily a sequel or a rewrite but something related mayhaps? Iunno.

Actually, I went to go check some of your stuff out when I saw you had put a link on Jonesyjones' page. But then the link was invalid or some such, so I guess the thread was deleted. It was an updated something, but he had commented on an older version and you wanted him to look at the newer one? I forget.

Anything of yours you recommend or want people to look at? I'm not on here much these days so I might forget between now and the next time I get on but I'll try to remember :O.

Hahaha, yeah, well, I went and deleted some of my old posts that I thought were unnecessary. If you want, (if they're still up, I'm not sure I deleted them or not but you can find them on The TMF forum as well if I did), you can check my stories out.

Also what made you think they were superfluous that you deleted them?
