forgive my...erm...ignorance in such matters...but what exactly is a 'lurker'? it doesn't sound good, and I want to make sure I don't do anything that would put me in that group.

lol, while you've probably figured this out already, here it is: Lurker- a person who may or may not be a member, but doesn't post, and just reads, downloads clips, images, etc, without commenting. Most forums are made up of mainly Lurkers.
