I've become a new member recently and wish to say hi to everyone. Also, I am happy to see that we have a large population of ticklephiles on the web (this includes people not on this forum). I would also like to thank the founders and keepers of this forum for providing such a wonderful service for all of us. It is also my understanding that you do so free of charge. For this I am thanking you doubly so, for if not for the free nature of this forum I would not be on it for lack of money. (I believe the politically correct phrase to describe persons of my status is "financially challenged.")
On another note I have a question. I sometimes see "X Level Red Feather underneath some members' names. This seems to be a ranking system of some sort. If so, what are the particulars of this ranking system?

As for the ranking you noticed, it has to do with how many post you've made. Since this is your first post, your rank is 'Registered User'. My rank is 'TMF Regular'. I got that after 150 posts. I believe the '1st Level Red Feather' comes after 1000 posts.

This is why I love this forum. It is so alive. I can post something and see a reply all in the same sitting! Thanks for the welcome and explanation of ranking. I'll be posting more here in the future, however, my access is limited so my posts may not be very frequent.

As guitman said above, there are rankings based on total number of posts. Here they are:

* Registered User (Minimum Posts: 1)
* TMF NOVICE (Minimum Posts: 50)
* TMF REGULAR (Minimum Posts: 150)
* TMF EXPERT (Minimum Posts: 300)
* TMF MASTER (Minimum Posts: 600)
* 1st Level Red Feather (Minimum Posts: 1000)
* 2nd Level Red Feather (Minimum Posts: 1250)
* 3rd Level Red Feather (Minimum Posts: 1500)

And there are more... I'm sure most people can guess the next one, but the next after that... 🙂
