Hilarious Sign Misspell From PennDot..

As a former resident of Lancaster County, this one has me on the floor.

I was watching WPVI's morning news, and. apparently.. PennDot misspelled a sign of a rather.. well known town to locals in Lancaster County called Ephrata. Penndot's misspelling.. had the sign spelled as "Epharta" , and would be pronounced "Epfarta".

PVI morning co-anchor Matt O Donnell looked to be cracking up as he was discussing it, and.. yes.. when I lived in Lancaster, I went to that town many times. They have good resturants there.

Ehh... more like Efarta. If you had the Ep at the front, it would be EpHarta.

Oh, and by the way, when I lived in Lancaster.. I didn't live in Ephrata. My address was Lancaster, but as I said before, I went to Ephrata quite a few times.


Jim Gardner was on at 6, and no mention of.. "Efarta"

It was probably beneath him to say the word "fart" on TV.

The Philly morning anchor at WPVI.. Matt O Donnell.. had absolutely no problem saying the word... "Efarta" on TV. WGAL Lancaster anchors Kim Lemon, and Ron Martin, both of whom I watched on occasion when I lived in Lancaster, didn't say the word.. but rather.. whoever the reporter was that was covering this story.. said it .. off camera.. to people in interviews on the streets and roads, and while none of the other people said the word.. those interviewed.. seemed to be "amused".

This morning I saw a story on GMA where they spelled Florida wrong. However they did not have the sign in place.
