History in the making

Not sure who'd i'd vote for..Which ever one does become president history will be made

1. Hillary Clinton 1st female United States President :cool2:

2. Barak Obama 1st African-American President :cool2:

3. Hillary Clinton husband Bill will become 1st Man :jester:

Obama by far, I am not much of Hillary person, not because I have a thing against women being president, just I get bad vibes from her. Plus her crusade on how video games are evil and such really turned me off to her. Don't blame the games, if you need to blame anyone for kids playing them too much, it's the parents. Video games do not spawn violence either, I played them my whole life and never once threw a punch, sure some kids might get affected by it, nothing a good parents could help solve. I hate how many parents today look for things to put the blame on for why their kid is bad. She will need to do some hardcore things to make me think highly of her after that stunt, people who call video games bad really don't know jack about them. For some kids they enjoy playing sports, but for me and my friends we enjoying playing video games, it was like our sport, so for someone to go up and bash it like that was very insulting. We got out of the house yes, did other things, that was just a pastime we enjoyed very much.

Well, throwing a punch is a thing. Pulling out a gun is a different matter altogether.
Sometimes, it could be better to settle things with a few broken teeth, than with just one bullet hole.

I understand she might come off as narrow-minded, and I don't want to sound overly dramatic about that, but...
do you realise that, from what you've posted, it would seem like you'll be basing your vote on your passion for *videogames* alone?

Wow, they both suck big time. but if i had a gun to my head, id pick osama!

Obama... I guess

If I HAD to pick from one of those two, I'd move out of the country because the election process had been hijacked. If I HAD to pick one, I'd pick Obama, because he doesn't really stand for much, and the things that Hillary stands for are far too extreme. Did you know that under the health care plan she proposed while her husband was in office would make it a crime for you to shell out your own money and use a doctor of your choice instead of the one appointed to you by the goverment. You would be thrown in jail for exercising freedom of choice for a doctor.
You see, the extreme left are only pro-choice when in comes to tearing the wombs out of 14 year olds. If you want to have a choice in schools, health care, or the right to own a gun, you won't have a choice because they believe that the government knows best.
So, at least Obama won't throw me in jail if I want another doctor. Sheesh.

That was Al Gore's wife dude. Not Hillary.

Personally....

As long as no republicans win I am happy. I think the best solution would be if they ran together. Probably with Hillary as Prez and Obama as vice prez. Then after he gets experience hes hould run for prez so I can vote for him. I like both but Hill has more exsperience and the moment.

dear Lord....

If that is our choices in the upcoming election, this country is screwed and I am outta here. Canada or UK here I come. :sowrong: :shake: 😱 :scared:  :xlime: :cry1:  :ranty:  :disgust: 😡 :ignite:

You can thank Hillary for your super high premiums in your health insurance. She said, I am gonna fix it back when her husband was in office. If that is fixed, then we are in for a mess with her in office.

Half-American and half-Kenyan...oh yes, he's also a Muslim.

As for me, I'd sooner slit my throat than vote for a Democrat

that seems a bit grim to me...get it? grim? lol..sighs...now GrimSkull, there are some good Democrats out there, as there, i'm sure...some good Republicans also..

I'm afriad the Muslim bit will scare off lots..unfortunately..

I'd rather vote for a REPUBLICAN than see Hillary Clinton in office. OBAMA will always have my vote, the man is brilliant.

I think Obama. To be honest I think he's pushing a much more responcible approach to bringing the troops home from the war. Hilary I think is getting too far left, going to more and more liberal speeches which I feel would hurt the troops as what happened in Vietnam. Before she did this, perhaps I would have voted for her.

I think the black woman in Bush's cabinet, lol can't rememberr her name would make a good president too, I'd vote for her.

I honestly hope not because I do like the man.

I suppose Izzy, but the truth is I'm a Libertarian and don't actually have a whole lot more use for Republicans than I do Democrats...

But Obama being a Muslim does definitely trouble me. Who's to say Al-Qaida or someone similar isn't secretly supporting him? A decade or so I would have thought such an idea to be pretty far-fetched, but nowadays..I just don't know...

ahh well i'm thinking of becoming Libertarian myself, i also don't have much use for either party..

and yikes, i never ever thought of that..makes sense in a way, but i do so hope it's not true..that's the first time i heard that theory..is it yours?

Condoleeza Rice. Yeah, she seems pretty cool. But, she has said that she doesn't plan to run at this time. Oh well.

But to answer the poll, between Clinton and Obama, I'd vote for Obama. Hilary Clinton puts me off.

In a way, I don't tend to think that Hilary could win the election, because it really doesn't seem that enough people like her. But at the same time, I can't help but entertain this hunch I have that the first woman to run for president will win, just because people will vote for her just because she's a woman.

Clearing up what I think is some misinformation;

I don't normally post in this section, but to my understanding Obama is NOT a Muslim. I don't know if this is a misunderstanding based on where he essentially went to elementary school... or outright attempt to undermine the man, but he is a Christian, NOT a Muslim. And also he IS American (you have to be American to run for president, not even a naturalized citizen you must be born American.) There are legal definitions of American, he is one. There is no such thing as a half American to my knowledge. I just looked at this thread out of curiosity and was surprised no one noticed.

Also just a funny little food for thought;
Isn't if funny how every four years you here about all the people who are moving out of the country if this or that party wins the election... and I have yet to see a presidential election followed by a mass exodus

Thank goodness those aren't the only two choices. Bill Richardson all the way!!!
