Geeze, I've been slack. I haven't posted anything in weeks. Sorry folks, but things have been going pretty hectic IRL, so I don't have much time to get on.

Anyways...

I just cranked this one out in an hour or so. I know it's kinda lazy that I have no background or anything, or anything besides Hinata that even resembles the Naruto series... but I'm planning on making another Hinata pic soon, and photoshopping it as well, so I can color it (!).

Anyways, here's this one for now... comments and criticism are appreciated. ^_^

You think you're slacking? I haven't drawn anything in a month, and I can sometimes go a couple months at a time without producing anything. So I understand what you're going through.

As for the picture, the resemblance is good enough at this point. Proportions and anatomy are decent but leave room for improvement. If you want a challenge for your next picture, I suggest trying a different viewing angle. The challenge itself will be how you handle foreshortening and perspective.

If you feel thats too advanced for you at this point, then my recommendation is to focus on refining the linework and getting more practice with that. You have something good to work with already, so you're in a fortunate position to learn from it and expand on what you already know. Look at pictures of Hinata and pictures of her from other artists you admire and see if anything can inspire you. Its often times through inspiration of some sort that people break past their limit and achieve something more, even if it's the simplist, minute little thing that others won't notice but they sure do because it makes them happier than they were before.

Actually, I've been practising perspective and foreshortening heavily in other media... I guess I should apply it to this art as well

I'm actually pretty disappointed with this one, at second glance... it doesn't look much like Hinata, really, besides clothes and hair. There's alway next time, of course 😀. Thanks so much for your advice!

it isn't how often you post, it's how good the post is and yours is great

Thanks! I feel more inspired to draw a better version already, thanks to your comment 😀
