The actual original banner commemorating the Brooklyn Dodgers World Championship in 1955 is currently on display at the The Brooklyn Historical Society. (It was donated to that institution by Peter O'Malley in 1995.)
It is part of a special exhibit, Home Base: Memories of the Brooklyn Dodgers at Ebbets Field, which runs from June 3, 2010, to April 24, 2011.
Below is a photo of the banner that I took there today.
The Brooklyn Historical Society is located at 128 Pierrepont Street, Brooklyn, New York 11201. (The cross street is Clinton Street. It is two blocks from the Borough Hall subway station on the #2 or #3 train.)
