'Twas the Night Before Chirstmas - Snail Shell Redux

‘Twas the night before Chirstmas
And boy did it stink
The elves were all worried ‘cuz
Santa got in the drink.

He drank in the workshop
He drank on the sly
He drank all the vodka
And tequila and rye.

It would’ve fine
If at home he would stay
But Mrs. Claus left out
The keys to the sleigh.

He staggered outside
Through wind and snow
He hitched up the reindeer
And away he did go.

He flew overhead
Of all cities and towns
As the world around him
Spun round and round

Careening off rooftops
And crashing through trees
A great nauseous feeling
Made him beg pretty please.

“On Dasher! On Dancer!
On Nancy and Rick!
And on that guy down there,
I’m going to be sick!”

But Santa’s big bender
Would find it’s end soon
As he crashed into the cow
That jumped over the moon.

So remember this season
If you end up plastered
That drinking and driving
Is an udder disaster.

Here’s hoping that you have fun this holiday season and please, if you do drink, don’t drive.

And remember, if you’re nice, you get lots of presents. If you’re naughty, come to NEST this spring. 😉

Nice job snail, it's funny though because I had a conversation with a supervisor about the etiquette of drinking beer and liquor. It goes "Liquor before beer and you're in the clear. Beer before liquor and you'll always get sicker." My brother is a testament to that second part.
