New York City and the entire North East is supposed to have a bad heat wave the next several days.

High of 92 today, 95 tomorrow, and 96 Thursday.

Bring it on!

This is more taxing on the body than the brutal cold and snow I usually post about on here in the winter

Was 104 yesterday on our side, but i think itll only hit 99 today. So yeah, its gettin a little spicy out there

Heat is always better on the body than the cold. I'll take 90s any day over 30s and 40s.

How's the AC working at your apartment? Was any maintenance ever performed on it?

It was around 116 here all last week. Not fun. Seems to have cooled down this week though.

My AC is okay.

Yes there was maintenance.

It works okay. When the sun beats in and its 96 outside, it feels like over 100 in here.

If one wants a cool place to be.

Current Temp there. 47 Degrees F. With their seasons being opposite of ours, it's the start of winter there.

That would feel nice about now.

The more carbon and methane we put up into our atmosphere, the more heat gets trapped on our planet. This in turn warms the oceans and as a result makes the planet HOTTER with more intense weather!

This isn't rocket science! 3rd graders can understand this! Climate change is real!

As long as the humidity isn't too high, it can be tolerable. I remember a few days, years ago, in Southern Calif., where the temps were around 105, and the humidity about 95%. Talk about miserable.
