Last night, I laughed and I cried at the same time as I watched the Chicago Bears face the Green Bay Packers in a 21-15 loss. Not sure what it is about the Bears that makes them the team they are. Cutler threw 4 interceptions even though he also had a couple of nice long bombs. Well this is only the first game of the season.

NFL football season is starting
MLB is coming to a conclusion
NBA/NHL/Nascar/PGA?

Ack. Forgot that this forum even had a sports section. This is more of a general question. But it should probably moved to the sports forum, sorry.

So far so good.. The eagles and the Jets both won yesterday, it was a happy day in my house.


As far as baseball, going good there too. Yanks are at 95-52, good season.
 
I am a Mets and Islanders fan, need I say more?

At least I still have the NY Giants!!!!
 
Well, let's see....I don't watch baseball (at least not until Pete Rose in in the HoF), not a fan of basketball so what's left?

My Pens won the cup. My Steelers won Lombardi #6. I'd say my teams are doing just fine. 🙂

I love soccer. But I can only watch the Euro and World Cups. The MLS is like minor league soccer, and it's hard to be interested in games over seas in the Premier League. If I lived over there, I'd probably follow it though.

Manchester United has looked better as of late
NYR haven't started yet but i don't see them doing so well...hope i'm wrong

all in all, sports life is good lol
 
Doing great here! Steelers got their 6th Super Bowl win and coming off of win against the Titans Thursday night. The Pens got the cup and well, the Pirates......ok ok, two out of three ain't bad lol.
 
I only have one favorite sports team, the Dodgers. They are currently in first place in the NL West :couch: , but only by 3 games.
 
Well, The SF Giants have a wild card shot, but it looks gloomy...my Niners are 1-0 with an opening day victory over the Cardinals and as for Basketball I am looking forward to a great season for the Portland Blazers as last year they won 54 games and they were the youngest team in the NBA.

Things are looking good so far 🙂

I only watch hockey, so let's see...

National Hockey League: The Caps are getting better by the year, hopefully we'll make it all the way this season! 🙂

Swedish Elite League: My favourite team is Leksands IF, they are currently playing in the tier 2 league, so... =/ But we have a strong team this year, even though our former team captain retired for this season. A lot of our players are current or former national team players, so hopefully we will be able to advance to the top league by the end of the season. The D looks VERY good, both when looking at the veterans and the prospects. Regarding the latter, Oliver Ekman-Larsson, picked at #6 in this years draft, will get an A this year. Might be interesting to note for any Yotes fans out there. 🙂

And now Urlacher is done for this season. He can't catch a break.
 
I'll post again here once the pre-season and regular season in the NHL get under way, but I am definitely on the Rockies bandwagon again, as I was the last time they decided upon themselves that all they were gonna do was win. I'm primarily a Blue Jays fan but since they find ways to lose and just don't have it now... I'll stick with my CFL (winding down, hoping to find money for Calgary flight/road trip and Grey Cup tix...) and some decent NFL action. (Not much of a hardcore fan but I find myself enjoying watching the Saints, Steelers and Ravens the most)
 
My Atlanta Braves are currently 75-68, but six games out of the wild card, behind three teams. I had hoped until a couple of weeks ago, that they would have a shot at the wild card, but thats not going to happen. With nineteen games left, they should hopefully get in the mid to high 80s for a win total, which would be better than last year, when they finished 72-90. Hopefully next year, they will have a good chance to win at least the wild card in the NL.

My Blue Bombers (CFL) are 3-7. My Jaguars lost their first NFL game of the season and lost a de for the season already. My Rockies are leading the wild card race thus far and my Rangers are an enigma as the season hasn't started yet.
 
well my soccer team tottenham hotspur (COME ON YOU SPURS) won the first 4 games of the season- this never happens. unfortunatly we came back to earth with a bump on sunday when we lost 3-1 to man u but its still lookin unbelievably good which is unbelievably bad for my liver...
 
The Panthers suck so far. Damn Delhomme.... 🙁

The Hurricanes are pretty good and seem like they'll continue to be.

The Braves haven't had a good year in a while.

The Bobcats... don't even get me started on them. They suck so bad, I have to pull for a non-NC team in the NBA: the Phoenix Suns.

As long as the Suns have Nash, they'll at least be decent.
 
The Angels are still first place in their division. Hockey has not started yet but GOOOOOOOO RedWings baby!!!!!!

SF Giants- Going for the sweep of Colorado tonight. 2.5 games out of the Wildcard.

SF 49ers- 1-0.
