How bad has the computer cheated you when you play games?

Gamers know what I mean.

Mine is a good one: playing NBA 2K12 in playoff mode, Mavericks vs. Suns Game 1. I have a ten point lead in the third quarter when the computer decided it wanted to win now. The Suns hit miracle shot after miracle shot while I couldnt hit open lay up and five footers. I did man to man, pressuring shooters, full court, it didnt matter, the computer beat it and made shots I knew I blocked.

Another story that comes to mind is when a friend of mine played NFL 2K5 on PS2 back in the day, he was playing the Rams with the Cowboys and was up by four when they did a "miracle drive". He tackled Marshall Faulk in the backfield but Faulk broke free and ran in for the game winning touchdown.

Im just wondering are there other stories where the victory was in the bag and somehow you were cheated by the computer when you had no business losing?

I haven't gamed in a long time, but the one that used to irritate me was "charging" special moves in Street Fighter II. If you wanted to throw a sonic boom, Guile would have to charge back for two seconds, then press forward and a punch. Yet the computer could lob them over and over, like it was throwing grapes at you.

The game that I play most often on my computer is Freecell and it has never cheated me. 😀

Smackdown vs. Raw 2007. You go into the story mode and either use an existing wrestler or one you created yourself.

I, myself, always used my own home-brewed character. If you chose to join the raw roster, the first wrestler you are pitted against is The Big Show! posessing a wrestler with no real skill against that is a bad combination. After MAAAAAANNNNNYYYY replay bouts, I finally got him worn down and pinned on the mat...Then he suddenly slides out from beneath me and beats the piss out of me again!

It's all good, though. I got the XBOX back. I didn't want to do this after my first loss to him because I thought it would be cheating, but I simply turned on the second controller. The Big Show became player 2.

It's a playoff game man. The computer has elevated its game to another level. Not surprising to me.

But is suppose to screw me in the process, Im mean if I miss time a free throw or leave a guy open I get that, but if I block a shot I know is blocked and it still goes in, that cant be a computer elevating its game can it?
