This question just came into my mind tonight and im kinda wondering what your thoughts on it was. I mean are thier really any Good ways or hints to knowing if some weather or not a person online or offline has a Tickling fetish or just loves Tickling alittle bit more then the next Guy or Girl? I would think surely thier has to be i just wouldn't even know what to look for

Hi BBR !

For discovering a " into tickling " person i will try to talk about anything but tickling.....then digressioning on the subject gently. But you cannot be always sure. Some people that maybe you know do love it, but do not find someone to talk with of that " ticklish " 🙂 subject. I admit it is hard. Or just if you have the occasion to tickle someone.....do it then you will be sure of what is going on.
That is not a help......it is an idea 🙂 ......already tested with success 😀 😀 😀

Yes I'll go with the plan of gently coming on to the subject of tickling. I think it'll work best when the both of you are more familiar with each other. I believe people into tickling will definitely react when they hear the mystical and exciting "t" word....

I'm afraid there is no surefire way of knowing it. Or anything else, for that matter.

Ppl change mood, maybe they are upset, or drunk or whatever... You can't tell from a casual meeting.

So knowing each other is a must: you could just tickle any human [male, female, anything in-between] specimen you blunder into, and ask "are you ticklish, honey? do you like it?".
But I suspect you'd end up slapped like hell more often than not... 😀

So, good luck, and be sure to relate. 😉

I disagree with the "gently broaching the subject" philosophy. People, there's nothing wrong with liking to tickle. Don't cause tension by intoducing it slowly. That wastes far too much time and you are making it taboo. You spend all this time to get to know someone and then slooowly get into the subject and find out they hate it. That sux.

This suggestion won't necessarily tell you if the person has a fetish right off, but it will tell you their tolerance, which will give you a great idea of where to go next. This works for ticklers or ticklees and you can use it online or in person. It also saves a lot of time:Talk about tickling like anyone in the general population would!! I have done it with GREAT success and quick results. For instance- bring up a scenario where someone you know was tickled by you or someone else. Something fun (If you don't have a scenario- make one up!). Then say something like "If I were tickled like that it would kill me- I'm like really ticklish!" and see what the other person's response is. If they say "I couldn't handle that either", then say something like- yeah but I'm a hypocrite because I love tickling people, even though I couldn't handle it! It's just so much fun!

Their following response will let you know where you can take the subject. The other person will either let you know that they really wouldn't like it, or that they think it's fun, too. The great thing if you do this in person is that you may be shocked to find out the other person thinks it's fun too, then you can immediately initiate, or better yet, they may be diabolical enough to start a tickle fight with YOU. Bet you didn't know you'd be tickling with someone new today!!

On the other end of the coin, I had an upstairs female neighbor that I used to talk to here and there. I went out for coffee with her one day and SHE actually brought up some deal about tickling but ended up saying "Yeah, if someone tickles me- like a poke - then ha ha, I'll laugh, it's funny. But some people take it too far and like to keep going- then it's not funny anymore and I have to punch them in the head." Needless to say she immediately fell off the prospect list. But you know what- that's great because then I was able to concentrate on looking for someone else who could be cool with it.

Believe me, take the plunge by making it a non-issue and you'll be amazed at the responses you get.

I had an experience JUST like yours!

A female friend in a bar, chatting about all and nothing.
Dunno how, tk subject is brought in.

I had just discovered the older TMF and I was exploring the possibilities of coming out. So I tried something like that: "I like tickling... I find it funny". You know, nothing too weird, straight to the point.

Ya know what? As a young girl, during a rainstorm, while stranded in a camping tent, friends had pinned her down and tickled her feet for the WHOLE night long.

She'd been phobic since then, she recounted, and added she HATED being tickled.

When I replied I actually liked to tickle girls just like her, her eyes widened and looked for the nearest exit.

I met her again, during summer. She was wearing flat, very revealing sandals. She greeted me, somewhat tepidly.
When my eyes naturally went to her feet, her eyes widened again, and backed off with sheer terror on her face.

That was weirdly funny.
She was SO scared of being tickled again - and I clearly looked so keen on doing that - that she almost passed out.

I know this is sick and wicked... but... I'm somewhat sadistic, and I wanted to tell ya.

So, my 2 eurocents are: share your thought, but don't share too much to the point of scaring the daylights off them.

Just be casual. Maybe try a sneaky tickling if situation allows, but DO NOT act weird about it. It is NO big deal. It's just tickling.
Everybody with a nasty streak tickles ppl, without any particular reasons, besides a good laugh.
Keep in mind, laughing is for you health. 😀 😀 😀

LOL! The sadistic side of me is laughing heartily. My ex wife HATED- HATED- HATED to be tickled because when she was a little girl she used to watch her uncle tickle her mother until she cried or wet herself. If I poked my ex-wife, she would smack me in the head- HARD!!! So thankfully, she is my ex- I got a lot wiser and married a ticklee.

Good move.

Not even satisfying a fetish is worth a smack in the ... what's the word? Noggin. 😀 😀 😀

Don't tell anybody... but I've tickled a nice gal just today.
She let me get near enough to her feet. I grabbed her ankles, pried away her footwear and ... well, usual fare: she started laughing. 😉
"Why do you keep struggling?" I asked.
"'Cause I'm ticklish" quoth she.
"What's wrong with it?" I replied.
"I'm TOO ticklish *laugh* I can't stand it!"

Ah... things like this should happen more often. 🙂

That's a very good point. Ought to learn from you guys...yeah, be natural. For me I choose to ask only those I'm confident with and it's usually "Are you ticklish? I've heard that ticklish people are usually the sweetest to their spouses."

Yes I know it's like I'm afraid to come straight to the point but people are more conservative where I am and I think it pays to be cautious.

That is not cautiousness, that is a marriage proposal! 😀

Still... I've been read - and been told by a Chinese girl - that asian ppl on the whole dislike personal touch to the point of considering it a taboo.

That's why tickle torture is also known as chinese torture: being unaccostumed to tickling made it even more unbearable. [Ok, I'm serious now... that was discomfortable, it was for real! 😀 ]

And Sydemon might have a point, here: tickling her colleague without a good excuse might be bad. Just like pinching her or something.

In italy they seem a bit conservative on "alternative sexuality too". While girl on tv are scantily clothed, they usually wear high, covering boots.

Just recently foot scene seeped into the mainstream, and tickling is even rarer too.

haha you guys are great 🙂 i'm really pretty scared to mention anything about tickling to a female, but just the other day i was reading up on the forums how to engage in a tickling conversation, and i started out by mentioning my old GF who got tickled all the time by her brothers, then this beautiful *EXTREMELY* ticklish girl i was hitting on comes in saying "yea i have always wundered what it would be like to be tickled with restraints...sure i've been tickled, but tickled with NO chance of struggling out of it....kinda got me wet" (You have to understand, this was like the 10000th time i've hit on the girl, we've talked back and forth about being wet or horny quite a few times in the past..we're pretty close, but this is the first time we've talked about tickling, and i guess by mentioning tickling to her, just once, opened up a new passage for me to persue with this girl 😛) we havnt talked about it much after that but she has asked me to play "the game" with her a few times now 😛 (The game is a game i told her about..its where you tie up your GF/wife and they need to think of a secret code word or something like that, and you have to tickle it out of them..i told her me and my ex-gf used to play the game all the time, but of course, thats not true, i'm just trying to get her to want me to tickle her more and more 😛 soon she'll be begging me for it, yes, thats right, begging.. I've mastered this game 😛)

A word from the kid...

Hey all,

Well I found, by experience, that it's best just to keep it fun. I guess that you gotta get chatting or whatever with someone before being a touch physical with em, but that needn't mean days or weeks or whatever. All I've ever done, is just chat to em and get a rapport goin. And take any chance you get as an excuse to poke em in the side, or tickle them. It's piss easy man! Just do it - there's loads of times in the past that I been nearly sick with butterflies - "Oh do I do it or not? What if she thinks something?" You'll know soon enough if they up for a bit. If they shift or smile or laugh, then just say "Ooooo ticklish eh?" It'll prompt a response, either favourably or not depending on who they are. Just keep it smiley and fun and playful.

My last ex seemed to love it (but she was a psycho so she had to go). I just talked to her, and played the conversation to a point where she was cheeky or something. I tickled her, she giggled, and tickled me back! From then it was just one long tickle fight over the week or two I saw her. And one night, I pinned her down and tickled her. She laughed so long and hard, and then I just said "Ah, you make a lotta noise but you love it really, don't ya?" And she said, albeit rather sheepishly, "Yep!" I dunno about the rest of you, but don't you get a sense of whether someone likes it or not? It's weird, but I do and I'm sure others do.

Just get stuck in mate, but have fun with it! Make it flirty and stuff - it's always been my way and it seems to work with me.

Happy ticklin everyone, Moondog 😀

Thinking about it, it doesn't matter too much whether a person has a tickle fetish or not.

Unless you want to pinpoint someone for some reason - blackmail? Cheap fun? Can't really imagine. 😀

As long as the would-be partner plays along, the reasons behind are less than important.

Maybe she [I speak from my male point of view] doesn't call it a fetish. Maybe she does it out of love, attraction, you name it.

Knowing why is only important if you want to fully explore it with her. If you need proper classification.

Tickling is such an innocent fetish, it could pass as a joke - especially if you are not into feet as well.

To be safe it would be better to identify those who really hate it or can't stand being tickled - or those unticklish at all.

Even to non-fetishists tickling is usually fun enough to play along, even without realizing it means much more for you.
