How did the Smokinggun even come up with the info on Sarah?

Scenario 1:

a. Willy Beaman posts an innocent inquiry on TMF which meets a little skepticism.

b. Someone called Afootmodel posts on the Joe Millionaire fan website late on Sunday night that Sarah is definitely a foot/tickling model by the name of Cindy Schubert, and posts images linked to tickletheater to prove it.

c. Someone at Smokinggun sees this, or is told to check it out, and breaks the story nationally.

d. Sarah wonders "why the fuck didn't I at least dye my hair brunette or cut off a few inches before the show?"

Beaman was right on the money when he called this one a few weeks ago. I've got to believe that she wasn't very worried about her past being discovered, otherwise she would have taken the aforementioned precautions of disguise.
The news clip I saw showed pics from several of her flicks, including one where she was getting gang tickled by a number of men. She has certainly brought tickling a little more into the mainstream.
How high do you think her asking price is going to be future fetish films? By the time the smoke clears she may very well be the most famous fetish model in the world.
Maybe Beaman can sue her for some royalties. After all, if it wasn't for him...

I was totally with Willy since he first mentioned it. I had photos from FMC of Cindy being tickled by Sara (ex RT model) and it was uncanny how she looked like Sarah of J. Millionare. And then the more I thought about it, I was like man I gotta wait a week to see Sarah on Joe Millionare to really look at her and the news totally breaks out!

Funny Willy that you brought this up, I actually was thinking about it earlier this day. I was thinking... is someone at the Smoking Gun a ticklephile? But then Afootmodel's post to Joe Millionare would explain how it left our little "circle".

It's still incredible. I just finished watching the re-run 10 minutes ago and definately see Sarah differenty now. Funny... I was dreaming of Zora being tickled, Sarah was last on my list. Go figure. 😉

We all know it was Willy that made the discovery first. Good job ole chap!!!!!!!

Yeah, but as something to be sneered at and dismissed as sick, weird and disgraceful. The media tone is unappealing.

Also, how'd they get hold of her videos so quickly?

I didn't out her

The lag was too short. Others had posted prior to me on the same board.

Willy, I think you outed her.

I doubt anyone here 'outed' her.

The Smoking gun employs a staff that is very good at finding things out, and they get a regular flow of imformation from snitches, and web hints.

They are VERY good at what they do. Spend some time on the site. These people know how to sift information for the facts.

UN Owen-- Actually, one of (the many) newsclips I've seen on this today immediately followed the story with a feature on wealthy people and celebrities who delve into fetish and bondage. The reporter said that it's becoming a common thing. This "outing" hasn't really been very degrading for the tickling community.
I'm sure that the companies that own her videos didn't mind seeing her outed. As UN Owen pointed out, they sure got those tapes pretty quickly. I wonder how many of her videos have been ordered in the last 12 hours.

Yeah, I visit that forum all the time, and I remember seeing that thread, which was posted the day after. I figured it was someone from here.

As for mainstream exposure, the focus is more on the bondage, and the shows seem to be amused by the fact that she starred in a video by the name of "Dirty Soled Dolls" (understandably so).

I saw part of her interview on Access Hollywood where she was blowing off the whole thing, but apparently, the interview feed seemed was screwed up with another Joe Millionaire-related promo.

My own two cents

If we remember what "Joe Millionaire" is--a show where women are having dates and sex with a man they just met in the hopes of getting to marry him for his money--then the inanity of this whole "scandal" gets even more clear. "Joe Millionaire" is, in itself, a sleazy operation, as are most of those other so-called reality shows, and the media feeding frenzy over this young woman Sarah is an incredible display of selective shock and hypocrisy. Being in bondage videos is more shocking, more sordid, than being on "Joe Millionaire"? Can anybody possibly explain why?

I can't, for the life of me, fathom how anybody could fail to be embarrassed at being seen on national television behaving the way a lot of these RTV contestants behave. The fact that someone would be unembarrassed at that, but embarrassed at having been in bondage videos, is like that Murphy Brown secretary, a guy in one episode, who showed up naked, explaining to her that he was not embarrassed to have his whole body seen, then suddenly ran off in shame when he learned that he had gotten some jelly from the doughnuts in his beard.

Even so, I think "outing" Sarah was a reprehensible thing for those Smoking Gun people and the press to do. I've never thought well of that Smoking Gun site, and the fact that they got rewarded for it with all this high-level attention is ghastly. For those who don't live in New York, today's Daily News had the headline "SADDAM & GOMORRAH," where "SADDAM" was the latest on Iraq and "GOMORRAH" was this Sarah nonsense.

Oh yeah, well look...I said in my own post that it's ridiculous that being on "Joe Millionaire" is any less of a scandal; in fact I think most of us would agree that "Joe Millionaire" is sleazy and making those videos was innocuous. The trouble is, she has to live in American society, and American society is where the hang-ups are. My angle is simply, we should all choose for ourselves how much we share with the world. That's why, right along, I have despised that Smoking Gun site. Moreover, the whole way that they set up the disclosure totally reinforces the bias that the making of these videos is a great unspeakable scandal. Why being on a show like "Joe Millionaire" is any more respectable, I'm the first to admit I'm a little slow-in-the-brain to fathom, but I still empathize with Sarah for the humiliation she's being put through, even at the same time as I say that if I were Sarah, I'd be a lot more humiliated to have people know I went on "Joe Millionaire."

I saw the Access Hollywood clip too...it looked like they cut part of her reply she was giving..probably was making her sound too respectable, and with this media frenzy, we can't have -that- happen..but I agree too that they seem to be portraying this as a shocking scandal, dirty and perverse...just the thing we don't need!

It IS true, though, that the major focus in the news reports has been the bondage and foot-fetish stuff. Tickling has barely been mentioned.

I guess it's too harmless to make a good scandal and boost ratings -- which is all they want. (I agree completely btw that "Joe Millionaire" is lower than just about ANY fetish video could be! Fox would be a lot cleaner if it just showed her FM Concepts tapes!)

And, I say it again, how'd they get those videos so fast? They must have rush ordered them...
