How Do You Download Vids From Youtube

Hey guys, can anyone tell me how to download and then covert to wmv any clips off youtube? I know somethin was posted once on how to do it but cant find it 🙁 Any help?

U go to the video you want

Dependin on yer browser, go to view page source

then click find and search for swf, that is the designation for shockwave\flash files. Look for a command like that looks like this
/player2.swf?video_id=9MI944_JDDI&l=90&t=OEgsToPDskKop5uJuBv8-G1EHawu4u1a&s=448CA1FC2DB57FE1:8A51374783A7BCE6
then all you do is insert www.youtube.com before all that and his enter, it will play the flash movie on its own page. You then go to file, save page as and save it
