How do you save youtube videos to comp?

I need to edit a video, its non tk related, but need help. I downloaded a video editor program no problem, but I need to save the youtube video on my comp first. Anyone knwo a good website that can help me do this? Thanks.

If you use Firefox, there's a plugin called DownloadHelper that will save any video embedded in a page. I've used it to grab YouTube videos lots of times. Normally it saves them as .flv files, but you can get a converter utility that will save them as .wmv instead.
