How effective are ostrich feathers?

I'm sure this type of question has been posted dozens of times already but I wasn't able to find it in the forum. Just how effective are ostrich feathers? I've been thinking of getting one for when my boyfriend and I have a tickling session but wanted to know if it has been known to work well.
And just to update people on if my experimenting with tickling my guy has worked, it has! 😀 He's not laughing madly and trying to fight me off by any means but I am making progress. I so happy. Opps, there's my silliness kicking in. Better go before it gets out of control. lol Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

not very effective...

.. for actual tickling, but great for visual/psychological effect.
they are sensual, and nice in a forplay way, and a good way to start.

ostrich feathers are a good visual but dont hold much tickling power (might just be effective for getting between the toes). If you want to use feathers the best thing for a tickle session is to use stiff turkey feathers.
