Some people use Windows Movie Maker to split files. However this program can only be used with Windows XP. Many people, like me, don't use XP. For example I use Windows 2000.
I tried to join te files with some programs that are free available on the internet, but all joined files produce slight (or even big) hickups at the joining points.
Has anyone a suggestion which (free) program can be used that doesn't produce those hickups.
I already tried out "avi pmg ram wvm joiner" and "steeper 1.0" to join the Marjolaine clip. The first one produced a clip with big hickups and parts with no sound and the second one produced a clip with only minor hickups.
Possibly clips splitted with Movie Maker can only be joined to the original clip with the same program. If so, wouldn't it be better then to split the bigger clips with WinRar, HJ Split or Hacha?
