How to work tickling into a casual conversation, help needed

So I figured I'd give it a 2nd go thanks to some very nice people in chat...

I am looking for help from people/ suggestions on how to work the topic of tickling into a casual conversation or maybe even how to just work actual tickling into a conversation. Things like "just got for it and tickle them" are just too forward by the way (and I've been told that multiple times. 😛 ). I have a few suggestions, including offering massages et cetera, but I'm looking for others as well. 🙂

Mind you, I've really never tickled anyone in the past past maybe tickling someone for, like, 2 seconds in passing. -.- I'm quite shy and haven't found a way to work it out without being so forward.

The last time I tried this it resulted in that side forum that got into the large debate about "courage" since I used that word and got me quite embarrassed (even deleted my original thread)... :/ but I figured I'd give it a second try.

Try to go about it in a roundabout way. Maybe bring it up while discussing things you loved and/or hated happening as a kid, for instance.

You could use it as a playful/joking threat.

When I want to find out if someone is ticklish, I'll start a funny conversation, and the person usually will start to tease me, and I'll turn and say "Hey, better behave. Don't make me tickle you!"

Almost every time I've done this, I've been told something along the lines of "Oh geez, not that! I'm very ticklish."
