HTML to vB code conversion.

The whole point is to make a 'picture' that displays whenever somebody is online/offline in AOL Instant Messenger. I was wondering instead of using the "img src=" it could be converted to ??? Does anybody here think it would still work? I was thinking of playing with it, and putting it in my TT signature to see if it would.

Using it raw with just [IMG]CODINGHERE doesn't work. Any suggestions, or should I quit now?

When you go to enter your signature in there is a little button for putting in images. I think it's just an
 
It looks like you need to host the "online" and "offline" .gifs on your own server (Smartgroups would do nicely), and then use the location of each in place of the string

Lol I did host them. I actually use photobucket. Lora said she used smartgroups and half the time, it wouldn't show pictures. Still, even with the pics hosted and the code unchanged except for the
 
Looking at it more closely, I see that there are two image URL's in that HTML string, one for an "online" .gif, and one for an "offline." Therefore, I don't think that it can be translated to vB code at all, because vB code requires one image source per tag and doesn't support a variable, unlike HTML.
