Hudson Brothers... anyone remember?

Hello everyone!

There was a comedy show on TV in the 70s called "The Hudson Brothers" which I think may have had a tickling scene. The reason I use the word 'think' is because I was only 3 or 4 years old when it was on, and my memory could be playing tricks on me about this scene.

From what I recall, there was a (recurring?) sketch which showed a man sitting at a table which was covered with a tablecloth, so you could not see under it. This man started to read a (children's?) story which is either really goofy, or he makes goofy jokes. In any case, I believe a pair of white-gloved hands come up from under the table and started (you guessed it) tickling him!

The gloves tickled him and pulled him under the table, and his laughter continued, so they must have been tickling a lot *grin*.
Anyway, as I said, this memory is very vague, so if any of you know the scene/show, please let me know.

All I know is, to this day, when I see someone wearing white gloves, I always think of that show!

I remember the show, but don't remember the scene you described. However, Goldie Hawn's daughter's father (that's a complicated way of saying Goldie Hawn's ex) is one of the Hudson Brothers. Her daughter (Kate Hudson) is as cute as Goldie...

Actually, those would be the Hanson brothers. I can understand your confusion, since both sets of brothers begin with "H" and have six letters. 😛 (And not to be confused with the band Hanson, which probably nobody wants to remember.)

I doubt that any of the hockey Hanson brothers could produce an offspring as cute as Kate Hudson. Nor would any of them stand a chance of getting Goldie Hawn.
