We didn't make it out in time. And we are right on the coast. Between putting the storm shutters up... trying to find our paperwork... etc etc etc... now we can't leave. The bands were already here by 8am. We thought we would be out of here by noon.

I'm desperatley trying to think thats everythings going to ok... but... I really don't know. This is very, very bad. And just in case something bad happens to us... I love you all my fellow ticklphiles. Be well and be happy... ALWAYS. <3

I am thankfully!!!!! 🙂 Been finishing editing my story to keep my mind occupied. I don't expect to have it much longer. Idk... The hurricane HAS been downgraded to a 2... I HOPE it stats that way. But living in a flood zone... We're still VERY concerned. The water is very high outside. :/ (We live on a marsh... 10 miles from the beach. )

We made it!! 🙂 We don't have power. And theres a bunch of trees down in our backyard and all around us. But we're ok and didn't flood out amazingly. When power is restored.I'll be back. (Using my Bf's phone right now fir a quick update.) Thank you so much for your concern everyone and support!

Thank you!!! Well we had coffee... but since I wake up around 6am I would have to wait until my Bf woke up hours later. And he would make each cup on a propane camp stove.

But yeah... my neighborhood is a MESS. When I say trees are down. I mean fully grown trees. And there are trees sitting in peoples living rooms. I've been through plenty of other hurricanes but being right on the coast made this one particularley scary. Including the fact I didn't have my paperwork ready and had to scramble to find it. And having to sort out what I love vs what I could lose to the hurricane. I'm gonna be doing an overhaul of my things. Giving things away. I can't go through this again. I've got so many memories I coulden't get to the memory stuff I wanted to keep. Now... I've already done this multiple times... but I'm still holding on to too many things. Things of my families, Gf, etc.

And the cleanup... wow! Just raking and moving tree limbs... I am so sore. But I finally just got some sleep so I feel much better. Laundry is first on the agenda.
